Join us on December 18th at 1PM at the Amtrak Community Room located at the Leon County Human Services and Community Partnership building (918 Railroad Avenue). This meeting will be paramount to assisting us in shaping the scope, purpose, infrastructure and future of the Council which was created from one of the recommendations of the Affordable Housing Workgroup convened by the City and the County in 2017.
As you may know, UPHS has been contracted with the City and County to serve as the fiscal and administrative agent for this Council and will be modeled after the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County as a community-wide effort to promote affordable housing. One of the items we are charged with is drafting and establishing bylaws for the Council to abide; a draft version is attached for your review. More information will be shared at this meeting, as well as, a timeline of events and the current listing of resources we have available and outlined in our community.
We look forward to seeing you there and furthering this discussion and for those of you who cannot make it we will provide minutes thereafter.
