Description

Justice system representatives and experts will speak on a range of issues raised by the PBS Frontline documentary film “Trafficked in America” which will be shown from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with lunch and program to follow immediately the film. Topics will include: the prevalence of labor trafficking in Florida and in the Big Bend; the challenges and realities of trafficking of minors and their vulnerability; immigration legal issues and assistance for victims; and how those in the justice system and the public can best respond to bring justice to trafficking survivors and our community.
